The OKX VIP Program is a tiered membership system based on a user's asset balance and trading volume. It consists of nine tiers, from VIP 1 to VIP 9. Higher tiers provide greater trading fee discounts, higher Earn limits, and more dedicated services. Each higher tier inherits all benefits available to lower tiers.

How do I qualify for the program?

You can qualify for the program based on any one of the following:

• Trading Volume (Past 30 Days)

  • Spot, Futures, or Options trading volume is measured in USD equivalent.

  • VIP tiers start from VIP 1 and go up to VIP 9. To learn more, click here.

• Asset Holdings

  • You can also qualify if you hold sufficient assets on our platform.

  • Starts at a minimum of 100,000 USD in assets for VIP 1.

How can I check whether I'm a VIP or Regular user?

On the app: on the homepage, go to Menu > Select Account settings > Profile > Trading fee tier to view your current level.

On the web: Go to your Profile in the top-right corner > Select Profile > Trading profile > User tier > View details to view your current level.

How do I become a VIP on OKX?

You can qualify automatically when your assets or trading volume reach the VIP 1 threshold (USD 100,000 in assets, or USD 1,000,000 in 30-day spot trading volume). The platform snapshots daily at 16:00 UTC and updates VIP tiers between 20:00–22:00 UTC. Deposits of USD 1,000 or more trigger an immediate review.

Who is eligible to apply for VIP status?

If you're already a VIP with another cryptocurrency exchange, or if your total trading volume or deposited assets qualify you for VIP status, you can apply for the same VIP status here.

Can I use VIP Trial Cards in the VIP trading?

No. VIP Experience Cards can't be used in the VIP trading.

Why can't I access the VIP-exclusive group chat after my VIP status expires?

When your VIP status expires, there is a grace period during which you can still access the group. Once the grace period ends, you'll no longer be able to send messages, and access to the group will be removed. Your access will be restored once you qualify for VIP again.

How do I get OKX merchandise, free gifts, or giveaway rewards?

Method 1: become a VIP user

Once you're a VIP user, you can reach out to your dedicated Relationship Manager to learn about available activities and ways to earn OKX merchandise rewards.

Method 2: participate in platform campaigns

What is a VIP trial card? (VIP experience activities / VIP trial program)

A VIP trial card is an exclusive benefit that VIP users can share with friends. Each VIP user receives 3 VIP1 14-Days trial cards per month. Trial cards are valid for the current month only and reset monthly — unused cards cannot be carried over. Once activated, friends can enjoy VIP1 benefits free of charge for 14 days.

Benefits during the trial period:

• Access to most VIP1 benefits.

• The following features aren't available during the trial: receiving VIP merchandise and trading in the C2C VIP Exclusive Zone.

• When the main account activates a trial card, sub-accounts will also receive VIP1 benefits. After the trial ends, sub-accounts can continue to be used normally, but VIP benefits will expire alongside the main account.

• If a friend meets the requirements for a formal VIP upgrade during the trial period, their account will be upgraded automatically — no additional action required. Financial products purchased during the trial period will continue to enjoy the VIP rate applicable at the time of purchase after the trial ends.

How do I claim a VIP trial card?

You can claim and activate a VIP trial card if you meet all of the following conditions:

• You are currently a non-VIP user in recent 180 Days.

• You have completed identity verification.

• You haven't claimed a VIP trial card in the past 90 days.

How do I activate it?

• Tap the invitation link shared by your VIP friend.

• Go to the VIP trial page and enter your friend's invitation code to activate.

Why has my VIP status expired?

Your VIP status may have expired for one of the following reasons:

Reason 1: trading volume or assets fell below the VIP minimum threshold

OKX recalculates your 30-day trading volume and account assets daily at 16:00 UTC. If your trading volume or assets fall below the minimum requirement for your current VIP tier, the system will automatically downgrade your VIP status to regular user between 20:00–22:00 UTC each day.

Reason 2: VIP trial card has expired

If your VIP status was granted through a VIP trial card, it will expire automatically once the trial card expires. Trial cards are valid for the current month only and can't be carried over. Once received and activated, the card grants 14 days of free VIP1 benefits.

Note: VIP status that has lapsed, been downgraded, or is no longer active can be reinstated by meeting the relevant trading volume or asset requirements again.

Q: What benefits do VIP users receive?

OKX VIP benefits cover trading, Earn products, and dedicated services.

For trading, VIP users receive better fee discounts, higher withdrawal limits, and more sub-accounts. Idle assets in the trading account can earn yield automatically through Auto Earn without affecting trading. VIP users may also use a Delta Neutral Account designed for arbitrage strategies and apply to become public lead traders to earn a share of copy-trading revenue.

For Earn products, VIP users may subscribe to BTC Yield+, receive preferential Dual Investment rates, and access VIP-exclusive staking limits for Airdrop Earn.

For services, VIP users may access a dedicated VIP service group, receive multiple VIP Trial Cards each month that can be gifted to friends, obtain VIP-exclusive SWAG, use the C2C VIP Exclusive Zone with reduced verification requirements for large deposits, and receive priority support for product and technical issues.

Higher VIP tiers provide more benefits, and each higher tier automatically inherits all benefits available to lower tiers.

Q: What is my VIP tier, and where can I check it?

You can view your current VIP tier and corresponding benefits in the VIP Center on the OKX app or website. The benefits displayed on your personal page shall prevail.

Q: How can I become a VIP or upgrade my VIP tier? What requirements must I meet?

Your VIP tier is determined by your total account assets or your trading volume over the past 30 days. Meeting the threshold for either dimension is sufficient. The system takes a daily snapshot and automatically updates your VIP tier afterward; no manual application is required. Q: What is the third-party custody service available to VIP users?

VIP 6 and above may use third-party custody solutions provided in partnership with leading institutions such as Standard Chartered, Copper, and Komainu. Under this model, assets are held with the custodian or bank while trading takes place on OKX, with the arrangement jointly managed by the three parties. Standard Chartered's custody solution charges approximately 0.12%–0.17% and supports assets including BTC, ETH, and USDC. Custody and service fees are governed by the contract with the third-party institution, while OKX provides trading, clearing, and settlement connectivity. Please contact your Relationship Manager for an assessment of the appropriate solution.

Q: What is a Delta Neutral Account?

A Delta Neutral Account is designed for hedged trading strategies such as funding-rate arbitrage and requires users to maintain low delta exposure. It provides higher borrowing limits to improve capital efficiency. Hedged positions also rank lower in the contract Auto-Deleveraging (ADL) queue, reducing the risk of being affected by ADL.

Q: Can a VIP user apply to become a lead trader?

Yes. Only VIP users may apply to become public lead traders. Once approved, a lead trader can earn a share of copy-trading revenue—up to 30% of the trading revenue generated by followers—and receive additional exposure.

Q: Can I request OKX SWAG after becoming a VIP?

VIP users may receive SWAG through VIP-exclusive campaigns or from their Relationship Manager. However, becoming a VIP does not automatically guarantee SWAG. The specific item, eligibility, regional restrictions, and distribution time are subject to the applicable campaign and notification from the dedicated Relationship Manager.
